Activity Instructor - Expressions of Interest

This role reports to the Team Leader Fitness and will be responsible for providing specialist activity instructions to Leisureplex customers in activities such as Gymnastics, Soccer, Basketball, Badminton, and Netball, etc. The successful applicants will facilitate safe and professional guidance, maintain equipment and other tasks associated with the day-to-day upkeep of a modern fitness centre.

The roles we have available are casual in nature, and if successful, you may be assigned to particular hours.
- Shifts may include weekdays and/or Saturdays
- Shifts are between 1 - 3 hours and range from 1 - 3 shifts a week (class type dependent)
- Free gym membership to both Leisure Centres!
- $21.74 - $23.30 per hour (depending on age) + 25% casual loading + 10.5% super
You will have demonstrated experience in instructing different sporting activities such as Gymnastics, Soccer, Basketball, Badminton, Netball or similar and excellent customer service skills. The right applicant will use their superior communication skills to work in a team environment and communicate with customers. You will also be safety conscious and be able to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service and have an excellent work ethic. A current (under six months) satisfactory national police clearance is mandatory as well as the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (if instructing children).
