Communications & Customer Experience Assistant

We now have an exciting opportunity for a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent to join our Customer & Communications team on a temporary (until November 2022), full-time basis.

The role works across both the Marketing & Communications and the Customer Experience teams and will be responsible for providing friendly and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
In this role, you will undertake duties such as:
- providing accurate, timely and appropriate advice to customers
- using the City's software programs to process and respond to enquiries
- handle entry-level communications and marketing tasks.
The successful applicant will enjoy:

- From $61,571.48 per annum + 11% Super
Applicants will be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent as per section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984. You will have customer service and/or contact centre experience, interest in developing marketing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will be able to accurately enter data into our software systems and work well in a team environment.
