The role reports to the Senior Community Safety Officer and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as part of the City's 24/7 Community Safety Service.
In this role, you will undertake duties such as:
- Responding to customer requests and providing excellent customer service
- Conducting highly visible patrols and routine security checks
- Education of relevant legislation and local laws
The successful applicant will enjoy:
- Gym Membership
- $36.54 per hour (+ 25% loading for Casuals)
- 11% superannuation from 1 July 2021
Applicants will have possession of Certificate II in Security Operations, ROCS Part 1 & 2, (formerly known as Ranger Municipal Law A and B) hold or be able to obtain a Security Officer licence, maintain a current Class C Driver's licence at all times, as well as a be able to provide a Working with Children Check and a current satisfactory National Police Certificate (within 6 months). The right applicant for the role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to utilise conflict resolution skills when out in the community. They will be work alone and as part of a strong Community Safety team, and have the availability to work on a roster basis consisting of 12-hour shifts over a 7 day period.
