We are seeking expressions of interest from responsible and energetic Lifeguards to join our team at the Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes on a casual basis.

The role reports to the Supervisor Facility Operations and will be responsible for supervising all water bodies (including spas, waterslides, hydro-pools and the surrounding areas), as well as provide first aid and emergency assistance where required. The facility operates seven days a week inclusive of early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays and all Lifeguards will ensure they provide a pleasant and welcoming experience to all visitors into our Leisureplexes at all times.

- $26.85 - $32.11 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + 10.5% super
Applicants will be qualified with their RLSS Pool Lifeguard certificate, as well as a current First Aid certificate and a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. It is also desirable for applicants to hold their Swimming Pool Operator's certificate. The right applicants for the roles will have excellent communication and verbal interpersonal skills to ensure a positive customer experience for all patrons; as well as have the ability to respond to emergencies and administer first aid in a calm and controlled manner. They will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, have the ability to work flexible hours across weekdays and weekends, and have an excellent work ethic.
