We now have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working Cleaner to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis, working Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts on a rotating roster.

The role reports to the Supervisor Facilities and will be responsible for working in a team environment to deliver efficient and effective cleaning and minor maintenance of Council buildings. The successful applicant will be responsible for all areas of cleaning including vacuuming and mopping floors; cleaning workstations and furniture, cleaning of toilets and wet areas; maintaining hard floor surfaces including stripping and sealing; wet cleaning soft floors and fabric; and undertaking safe manual handling practices.
- 12 month contract with possible extension
- Great working hours with early finish times (5am-1.30pm Mon-Thurs, 5am-11am Fri)

- $1,141 per week + 10.5% super
Applicants will have a minimum of three years' similar experience in all areas of commercial cleaning mentioned above, combined with a C class driver's licence, and a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will be prepared to undertake Certificates in Cleaning Operations, if not already held, and be comfortable and capable of using ladders. They will enjoy working in a team environment, be willing to undertake training to improve skills, and have an excellent work ethic.
