An opportunity has arisen at the City of Canning at Executive Manager level for a professional with passion for driving our vision of being a welcoming and thriving City. This opportunity is on a full time, maximum term (5 years) basis.
The Executive Manager Build Canning oversees the strategic delivery of infrastructure design and sustainable transport and engineering projects which impact the look and style of our physical environment.

The role reports to the Director Canning Environment and is responsible for working collaboratively across the organisation and deliver the strategic, corporate and operational plans of the City. As a key leader, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to continue the City's progress towards a Local Government Centre of Excellence through an innovative management style that fosters and develops its people.

- Competitive salary package + 10.5% super
Applicants will have tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, proven strategic leadership experience, sound risk management skills, high level conceptual thinking, as well as a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will have experience in driving cultural change, developing positive working relationships across the organisation and enabling innovative teams who thrive in developing customer-focussed outcomes. They will have a strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret financial reports and manage budgets, enjoy working in a team setting, have a track record of significant project management success and an excellent work ethic.
