The role reports to the Executive Manager Enriching Canning and will be responsible for guiding the daily operations of Canning Lodge, a 42-bed residential aged care facility in Willetton, and the City's catering provision for Meals on Wheels and Herald Avenue Diner. The successful applicant will be joining the City of Canning at a pivotal time for our Aged Care services providing leadership and guidance for the facility in the context of new aged care standards, mentoring and developing staff, as well as having the opportunity to provide innovative ideas for improvement.

  • Competitive Salary Package available + 10.5% super

Applicants will have a current Division 1 Nurses registration, a minimum of 5-years of experience in facility management, well-developed working knowledge of contemporary aged care standards, as well as be able to provide a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will have strong leadership capability in both the development and management of teams as well as excellent organisational and time management skills. They will enjoy working in a dynamic setting; have good financial management aptitude and an excellent work ethic.
