We now have opportunities for customer-focused and dedicated Carers to provide a positive, supportive and caring environment that respects the rights, privacy and choice of the care recipients at Canning Lodge, a 42 bed aged care facility.

Impact the Community in a Big Way!

The role reports to the Registered Nurse Clinical Lead and is responsible for assisting care recipients with all aspects of care according to their care plan, support in medication management; contribute to the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients as well as other tasks associated with client-centred care.

  • Casual and Part-Time opportunities
  • Day Time, Afternoon and Night Shifts are available
  • $24 - $27 per hour + 10.5% superannuation

To be successful you will have experience caring for the aged and people with disabilities, a Senior First Aid Certificate, excellent domestic skills in the areas of cooking, cleaning and laundry, and a Cert III in Aged Care is strongly preferred. You will also have or be able to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for this role will enjoy working in a team setting, be able to work independently and have excellent people skills as well as a strong work ethic.
